On a breezy day in Gladstone, four teams competed in the Gladstone Invitational. Coming in 4th was Norway with 31 pts. placing 3rd with 51 pts. was the Eskymos from Escanaba; Runners up were the Braves from Gladstone with 53 pts. and winning with 106 pts. was the Redmen of Marquette. Winning for the Redmen in the 3200 Meter Relay in 9:00. was the team of Julien Malherbe, Nathan Zika, Ramsey Nofal and Mathurin Gagnon; Winning the 400 Meter dash in 53.16 was Garrett Rudden; Winning the 300 Hurdles in 42.61 was Jonas Blum; Winning the 800 Meter run in 2:06.37 was Mathurin Gagnon; Winning the 200 Meter dash in 23.35 was Jonas Blum; Winning the 3200 Meter run in 10:15 was Luke Rambo; Winning the 1600 Meter Relay in 3:43.24 team of Julien Malherbe, Nathan Zika, Mathurin Gagnon and Garrett Rudden; High Jump champion was Raphael Millado jumping 5’10”; Shot Put Champ was John Skendzel throwing 42’4″; Discus champ throwing 109’9″ was Alexander Canoot; Another great team effort helped the Redmen claim the championship….Stay humble and stay hungry…Coach Kyle Detmers
